Absolutely brilliant article that sums up what the riots are all about.
Managed to secure a job yesterday in the restructure at work so me and Shah went out celebrating at the Baan Thitiya in Hertford. A fitting end to a stressful six months.

BBCSport-Football-Tottenham3-0WerderBremen. It's never easy following Tottenham as been said on many occasions but Werder Bremen were so poor that we never looked in danger of losing the game. I had Spurs to win 4-0 so I wasn't too pleased when Gareth Bale missed the penalty although his overall contribution was excellent again and it helped us ease into the last 16.

BBC Sport - Football - Arsenal 2-3 Tottenham. At half time this was a very unlikely result. All our deficiencies were cruelly being exposed by Arsenal and again we looked like a team of lost and leadership souls. Up steps William Gallas and plays his heart out to keep us in the game and to lead us by example to victory. We were so far behind in the first half both in terms of skill and application that I thought Arsenal would go on to score four of five. A brilliantly worked and finished goal by Bale and a coolly finished penalty by VdV seemed to put Arsenal on the back foot and even though they missed a sitter, Kaboul popped up with a glancing header five minutes from the end. The five minutes injury time was possible the longest five minutes I've ever sat through but we managed to get through it without many major scares and this win has done wonders both for our confidence and our title chasing aspirations.
I thought William Gallas was just amazing today. For me, he was the man of the match. I thought his performance was top drawer.Well said 'Arry.

BBC Sport - Football - Tottenham 4-2 Blackburn. After the way we fell away on Tuesday, it was good to see the injury hit side pull off a good and stylish win. It's never easy being a Tottenham fan and when I saw we were four nil up and we gave away a couple of goals, I thought here we go but looking at the highlights we should've had another couple so there was nothing to worry about. Tough games coming up against Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea plus the two in the Champions League so we it's all a bit make or break over the next few weeks.
BBC Sport - Golf - Tiger Woods fails to make ground at Australian Masters. When you play golf, it's all in the putting really and Tiger has gone from an extraordinary putter to an ordinary putter. Good putting is based on being fearless, if you think you're going to miss then inevitably you will miss. I still think Tiger's got too much on his mind to be the brave and fearless putter he once was and until he gets that back he won't be the player he was.
